The EIT Avionics FODR is a high performance data recorder designed to meet 14 CFR part 135.607 Helicopter Flight Data Monitoring requirements. With FODR, even single ship operators can implement FDM safety improvements and reduce costly operational errors. FODR = data for better decision making.
Uniquely, FODR interfaces with ESAID, a display and annunciation device, to enhance IN FLIGHT situational awareness of critical parameters. ESAID calculates density altitude, power, hover and airspeed performance limitations twice per second, giving the pilot unprecedented situational awareness.
