Founded in 1977, EIT 2.0 evolved its mission in 2021 to focus on our core strengths: to provide creative engineering solutions to electronic manufacturing and to develop innovative technology to support needs in the areas of UV measurement, disinfection, and more.  EIT 2.0’s management team has a broad base of experience in the design and production of electronic equipment. Backing up the senior service management team is a strong team of design and manufacturing engineers, technical specialists, program managers, buyers, and support staff.

Joe May

Joe T. May

Joe T. May is the Chairman of the Board and Chief Technology Officer, for EIT 2.0, LLC, the company he founded in 1977.  Joe, an Electrical Engineering graduate of Virginia Tech and a Professional Engineer, has an extensive background in circuit and instrumentation design.  He holds 28 patents in areas ranging from measurement of gasoline octane rating to measurement of ultra-violet energy used in industrial applications.  More recently he  has been granted two  patents  in the area of helicopter instrumentation and there are three more pending.  Joe has authored and presented numerous technical papers, nationally and internationally, on a variety of technical topics and has participated in a number STEM programs  at the high school and university level.

Joe served 20 years as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, where he chaired the Science and Technology Committee and the House Transportation Committee. He also chaired the Joint Commission on Technology and Science. In addition, Joe has written and presented sixteen biographies which document the service and stories of young men from his home area who died in WWll.

Among other awards, Joe was presented with Virginia’s “Lifetime Achievement Award for Industry” in 1996, was named Greater Washington Area Engineer of the Year in 2001,  was inducted into the Virginia Tech Academy of Engineering Excellence in 2009, and received the Greater Washington Innovation Award in 2015.

David Faliskie

David Faliskie

David Faliskie, President and Chief Operating Officer, joined EIT in June 2007. David has over 20 years of leadership experience in the electronics manufacturing arena through various roles within Dovatron, Flextronics, Suntron and Sanmina-SCI. In his current role, David has operational responsibilities for all of EIT’s facilities (Leesburg VA, Danville VA, and Salem NH).  During David’s time at EIT, he oversaw the construction of two major company facilities and manages the continued modernization of EIT manufacturing resources such as SMT equipment, Automated Optical Inspection equipment, 3D X-ray inspection equipment, Solder Paste Inspection equipment, and Ultra-High cleaning equipment.  The company has seen growth with customers, both new and existing, and expanded into the New England market through acquisition.  EIT’s growth has been slow and steady to eliminate or minimize impacts on the company and its customers.  EIT continues to evolve by adding resources (people, equipment, facilities) as needed to keep up with the ever-changing electronics market.

David holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA.  David and his family reside in Leesburg, VA and he currently serves on the Town of Leesburg’s Planning Commission.
